Bach Flowers & Herbal Remedies
Claudia passed at the end of August, right before school started. It was already going to be hard enough dropping my oldest at 2nd grade and my 2nd child at Kindergarten, but now I had to do that and come home to an empty house because Claudia was no longer with us.
I needed some help for my nerves and to help keep me together, but I didn't want to go on anti-depressants. I knew this was going to be a new way of life for me, and depending on pills wasn't going to work for me. I wanted something more natural that would work with my body to ease my nerves and reduce the anxiety I was feeling. Juliana (see Vedic Astrology) was also a Bach Flower Remedy practitioner. She suggested flower remedies that were specific to handling grief, like Star of Bethlehem which was for good for shock/trauma associated with grief. There were others flowers too and they really helped to calm me down and restore my equilibrium.
I also used Rescue Remedy from Bach Flowers, I took 2 drops before I left the house every morning for school drop-off, it was very helpful in settling my nerves and gave me an overall calm feeling. I used this for any occasion when I knew it would be challenging, was going to be around a lot of people or I just needed a little help.
I have always loved to garden and a few years ago I began exploring the medicinal benefits of flowers and herbs. There are so many benefits from these plants- it's actually what medicine always was before the pharmaceuticals took over. I don't like taking anything that is going to give me a side effect, or cause any other harm. That why I like the Bach Flower Remedies and herbal medicine.
I have a website: https://from-the-ground-up-healing.square.site/ where I sell herbal remedies and there is a Stress/Anxiety Tea that is very calming. I'm in the process of making more Teas, specifically for grief that I will be adding to the website soon.
